  • Gyor monumental early Baroque monument consists of the eastern half of the map. Kolonich Leopold was erected by the Bishop of Győr in the 1686th year to commemorate the recapture. Long prismatic pedestal column is topped with Mary holding the baby Jesus. Effect of the Renaissance, with garlands of fruit and figural reliefs decorated pedestal four corners of a Baroque statue of St. Stephen, St. John the Baptist, St. Anthony of Padua and St. Leopold. On the side of the pedestal are reliefs depicting saints. Below is inscribed in Latin on both sides of the monument set up. The Marian column is surrounded by stone barriers puppet.

  • The Baroque Széchenyi square Gyor's main square. Mostly 17-18. century framed buildings, particularly in the northern baroque palaces and buildings of the south side of the Benedictines remarkable. For centuries, this square was the center of public life, several events have been held here today. During the Turkish occupation of the area in underground prison, and later stood in the pillory, the abbot, was the noble house kivégzőhelye. 1688 was the last in Győr, burning of witches, in 1715, cut off his head Géczy Julianna, the "Levoča white woman".

  • Saint Ladislaus I (1045 – 29 July 1095) was King of Hungary from 1077 until his death, "who greatly expanded the boundaries of the kingdom and consolidated it internally; no other Hungarian king was so generally beloved by the people". Before his accession to the throne, he was the main advisor of his brother, Géza I of Hungary, who was fighting against their cousin, King Solomon of Hungary.

  • Szent királyunk személye az itt őrzött hermával egyértelműen Győrhöz köthető. Szent László király nevének napján az önkormányzat minden évben díszközgyűléssel tiszteleg lovagkirályunk előtt, a püspökség pedig évről évre szentmisével és körmenettel ünnepli a magyar történelem nagy alakját.

You view an online demonstration site of GUIDO.WEB here, in which the city of Győr tourism, and other informative information from the system will demonstrate their knowledge and potential.
GUIDO.WEB is a web-based object-information system that can be installed in internet and/or intranet environment, and provides multi-language, multimedia-capable content remotely - for users using their computer's browser -, or locally, at place of objects, which can be either inside buildings or any public places like streets, entertainment parks, zoos, etc. The system is capable to provide it's content for classic desktop browsers as well as mobile-optimized content for wide range of mobile devices like smartphones, tablets, netbooks.

GUIDO.WEB Services

GUIDO.WEB is not designated only for traditional museums. It is a framework, with both the appearance and the content being completely customizable. So in any area in which you want to provide information about arts (e.g. a museum, gallery, auction house), tools, machines (a machinery exhibition), buildings (tourist information system), statues, plants (botanical garden), animals (zoo), etc., it is possible use this system to enhance your visitor's experience.

Management is easy, simply

The content on pages GUIDO.WEB a web-based interface, Internet or Intranet environments, both central management software can be used to edit a piece of cake to produce works of art multilingual information, tours, information subpages.

Support for mobile devices

Please read the QR code on the right side with your mobile device's camera.

The system is capable to present the information not only in "normal" version - optimized for dekstop web browsers -, but in mobile version as well, which is optimized for mobile devices (smartphones, tablets). You don't need to do anything, just open the website on you smartphone, and the system will present the mobile-optimized version automatically. (It is possible to change to full version of course any time.)

It is possible to reach the information stored in the system - object infos, tours, collections, etc. - "directly", by putting a QR code next to the physical object, and reading that by you mobile device's camera. That will automatically open the device's browser and load the particular page with the related data.

Note: Most modern smartphone's camera application already includes such QR code reading function. For those models that doesn't have this as built in feature. there are plenty 3rd party applications available for all main mobile platforms.
